Price & Policy Update, and Ayurveda Seasonal Support

Greetings all,

I want to start by expressing my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and patronage. Thanks to you all, my business has grown—expanding in my availability, the number of people I get to see, and the depth of service I provide. It’s an honor to support whole health & wellness in our community.

As part of this growth, I’ve made some updates to my pricing and incorporated a cancellation/rescheduling policy that aligns with industry standards and the degree of care I provide. My website has been updated, so please take a moment to review the updated service prices and policies. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

The services you have been receiving will not have a price change until February 1, 2025

Ayurveda Seasonal Wellness

As winter settles in, St. Louis is feeling the effects of the cold, dry weather. In Ayurveda, these qualities are associated with what we call Vata energy, and to balance them, we incorporate warmth and moisture. To support your well-being during this season, here are a few simple tips:

  • Warm, nourishing foods: Soups, squash, and stews are all great options to help you stay grounded and hydrated.
  • Spices for internal warmth: Cinnamon, cumin, curry, ginger, and black pepper can help stimulate digestion and keep you feeling cozy inside.
  • Abhyanga (Self-Oil Massage): This Ayurvedic practice, using sesame or olive oil in the winter, is a great way to combat dry skin and calm the nervous system. On the Ayurveda Treatments page of my website, you will find a “how to video” that provides a demonstration of how Abhyanga can be performed at home.  It’s nourishing for the skin and offers a soothing, calming experience.  An in-office treatment uses generous amounts of herbalized oil for the scalp, face, and body.

Thank you again for your trust and support. I’m looking forward to continuing to support your health & wellness! Blessings to you and your family as we enter the busy holiday season.

Warmly,

Dale
